Climate change is one of the central issues of our time, yet the ideas that matter most - how we know the climate is changing, what its impacts are, and what we can realistically do about it - often never reach people in a form they can use. Our work on education helps bring people the information they need to make better decisions.
Our education work spans all levels: K-12 classrooms, universities, and the general public. As part of the Educating for Environmental Change program at Indiana University, we co-produce lessons with teachers to design hands-on ways to teach the science and policy of climate change and bring those lessons to schools across Indiana. All of our lessons are freely available, helping close the gap between what we understand as scientists and how people make decisions.
