Research in Professor Kravitz’s group focuses on climate dynamics, or mathematical and modeling techniques to understand Earth as a dynamical system. We broadly work on radiative forcing and climate response, quantifying climate system feedbacks, and characterizing uncertainty in the climate system. Some specific research areas include solar geoengineering, teleconnections, climate model emulators, dynamical downscaling, and uncertainty quantification for wind energy.
