James is a Ph.D. student in Dr. Kravitz's lab.  His masters research focused on processes behind various timescales of ENSO, using 20th Century Reanalysis data, as well as assessing how various aspects of ENSO are handled by CMIP5 global climate models. At IU, he is using global climate models and historical data to understand climate zones and investigate teleconnections.
